The Art of Yoga School

300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training

14 Month Program - Begins Spring 2026

Elevate Your Teaching. Deepen Your Knowledge. Strengthen Your Practice.

Hosted by Yoga with Singer

As director of The Art of Yoga School, Singer infuses all her passions into a training experience that is balanced, genuine, and creatively vibrant. Since 2016, AOYS has grown into a trusted sanctuary for yogis, hosting over forty retreats and offering intimate in-person 200- and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings at its private studio in Central Austin. Under her leadership, trainees don’t just learn poses and philosophy—they discover how to express their own voice, share their gifts with confidence, and develop a teaching practice rooted in embodiment and authenticity.

Our 300‑Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is designed for certified teachers who want to expand their expertise, refine their teaching skills, and grow their personal practice.

This program builds on the foundation of a 200‑hour training and focuses on real‑world tools, professional development, and advanced teaching techniques that develop confident, effective instructors.

Through advanced study in asana, sequencing, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, and teaching methodology, you’ll gain the insight and experience needed to lead diverse students with precision and confidence.

Refine Your Personal Practice

Weekly practices and supportive Q&A sessions help you strengthen your physical foundation, advance your technique, and reconnect with yoga as a lifelong study. You'll learn to move and teach with clarity, awareness, and purpose.

The Art of Intelligent Sequencing

Learn to create balanced, well‑structured group and private classes using principles of progression, biomechanics, and adaptability. You’ll learn to read the room, modify safely, and design practices suitable for any level.

Teaching with Awareness

Develop your ability to observe and respond—to see beyond alignment and recognize each student's individual needs. Learn to adjust, cue, and communicate in ways that support learning, trust, and inclusivity.

Applied Anatomy and Physiology

Our anatomy curriculum focuses on functional understanding—how the body moves, how injuries occur, and how to teach with safety and longevity in mind. You’ll explore how asana and pranayama affect the musculoskeletal, nervous, and energetic systems, and gain confidence working with a variety of students.

Professional Development

Refine your teaching voice, leadership skills, and professional presence. Learn practical tools for clear communication, ethical boundaries, and confident instruction—skills that translate to both yoga teaching and everyday life.

With over 800 hours of training and 5000 hours of teaching, Singer Mayberry is an E-RYT500 Teacher and Registered as a Continuing Education Provider.

As a musician and artist, I love to create inspiring yoga experiences for my students. Always paying attention to the details, I find value in “curating” everything from my music playlists, to incorporating the use of essential oils & smudging to help even out the energy in my classes. The practice of yoga has brought balance to my life, nurturing my body, mind and soul. My practice helps me to live in a state of calm and consistency, even during times when my life seems utterly chaotic. Through my classes, I hope to share many valuable moments of calmness and clarity, encouraging balance in all of my students lives.
— Singer Mayberry, Lead Trainer

Lead Trainer@YogawithSinger

Singer Mayberry is a longtime yoga teacher, creative spirit, and the driving force behind The Art of Yoga School. With over a decade of teaching experience and an E‑RYT500 credential from Yoga Alliance, she has poured thousands of hours into refining her craft. Her 800+ hours of training in Yoga and Ayurvedic Studies shine through in every class she teaches. Add in her Fine Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and you get a teacher who blends yogic wisdom with an artist’s eye for beauty, atmosphere, and play.

Singer believes yoga should feel like an experience—not just a sequence of poses. Her classes weave together the grounding energy of Restorative, Hatha, and Yin Yoga with a flair for ritual and sensory magic. Expect curated playlists, essential oils, and the occasional smudge of sage to shift the vibe. These details aren’t just for ambiance; they help students unwind, tune in, and drop into a space that feels both sacred and refreshingly human.

Before she stepped fully into teaching, Singer owned Black Lagoon—an art gallery turned yoga studio that became a local Austin gem from 2010 to 2017. What started as a creative experiment blossomed into a bustling community hub, hosting over twenty weekly classes and a team of inspired local teachers. During this chapter, her passion for teaching and community building grew, inspiring her to create The Art of Yoga School® in 2016.

As director of The Art of Yoga School, Singer channels all her passions into a training experience that is equal parts grounded, heartfelt, and creatively alive. Since 2016, AOYS has blossomed into a trusted home for yogis, hosting over forty retreats and offering intimate in‑person 200‑ and 300‑hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in its private Central Austin studio. Under her guidance, trainees don’t just learn poses and philosophy—they learn how to express their own voice, share their gifts with confidence, and build a teaching practice rooted in embodiment and authenticity.

Singer leads with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine love for the transformative journey of yoga. Whether through her classes, retreats, or trainings at The Art of Yoga School, she creates experiences that spark inspiration, invite deep connection, and remind students to embrace joy both on and off the mat.
